Serafina the Fish Coat Rack

My best friend, Kale, and I just recently opened our own exotic sea life boutique and are always on the hunt for interesting, but functional pieces for the office and front desk area. While there are plenty of “fish” themed items out there, few have the character we both require before adding anything to the store other than regular inventory. One of the things all of the staff have been complaining about is the lack of designated space to hang things like coats & purses, so Kale and I started searching for coat racks, wall hooks and the like that would be both functional and interesting.
We had been keeping our eyes and ears open for almost a month when one of our customers overheard us talking about where to hang our things and she suggested this website. Willing to try about anything, we all crowded around the office computer and found this most beautiful wall-mounted coat rack with a fish on it! The hooks are a rather simple scroll design so the fish on top is the main attraction, not the hooks that are going to be covered with jackets and over shirts. However, the hooks curl at the ends instead of being pointy piece so the things we hang on them don’t get deformed, leaving little tents in our clothing but it also doesn’t hurt nearly as bad when I bump my head on them either!
My favorite part, of course, though is the amazing fish that swims above all of our things. We love that its metal so so it doesn’t have to be dusted as often and it fits fairly flush against the wall so it appears more like a piece of art instead of just a coat rack. In fact, from the front desk, customers can actually see into the back office and we get so many compliments and questions about Serafina (yes, we named her!). There have even been offers to buy her, but we, of course, refuse, but we do refer interested parties to the website. Above and beyond anything else about Serafina, though, my favorite has to be the gorgeous vibrant colors! They’re so vivid and so masterfully chosen that it adds that pop of color that most every room needs, but most especially a room dedicated to the sea. It’s been the perfect addition to our office!
